The Grand Lodges
of the Mediterranean
FRATERNITY · FREEDOM · TOLERANCE · REGULARITY
A regular Masonic federation uniting Brothers from the three continents of the Mediterranean basin: Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Fraternity · Freedom · Tolerance · Regularity
Fraternity is the cornerstone of our union, a bond of mutual support among Brothers across three continents.
We defend individual freedom and free thought against the risks of alienation and the concentration of power.
We promote multi-ethnic pluralism, equality of rights and respect for cultural and religious diversity.
Our federation adopts the Masonic regularity criteria of the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE).
The Seal of the Confederation
The logo is now presented as the central element of the visual identity: clean, readable and clearly separated from the background, with a more institutional and modern presence.

An alliance born from the Mediterranean
The Grand Lodges of the Mediterranean (GLM) were officially founded on April 6, 2024, in Malta, during the founding assembly that brought together three obediences deeply rooted in Masonic tradition.
The Mediterranean, for centuries a crossroads of civilizations, faiths, and cultures, was chosen as the symbolic heart of this alliance. Malta, located at the very center of the Mediterranean, reflects this heritage and became the natural birthplace of the GLM.
The statutes, signed in Rome on September 14, 2024, officially sealed this confederation, confirming its principles of Masonic regularity, political and religious neutrality, and commitment to humanist ideals.
